History of Kanazawa Welfare College
Sept/1973 “Kanazawa High School of Music” was founded by the first chairman, Etchuya Ki Yoshinobu (Enkoji Temple, Kanazawa)
Feb/1990 Established a designated care worker training school. Approved by the Minister of Health and Welfare
April/1990 Opened the doors of “Kanazawa Welfare College”. “Nursing Care and Welfare Department Two-year Program” established
Dec/1998 Granted the title of “Specialist” in the Department of Care and Welfare, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
Oct/2012 “Nursing Care Practical Training Course (online program)” begun.Approved by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare
March/2014 “Nursing Care Practical Training Course” (classes conducted in-person) begun. Approved by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare
